The shortlist
isolved LMS alternatives and what each one charges
Eight options a US company on isolved weighs. Five publish a figure you can read today: CompanyLMS, ProProfs Training Maker, TalentLMS, Coggno and EasyLlama. isolved Learn & Grow, Relias and Skillsoft are quoted. isolved, ProProfs, TalentLMS and Coggno were read on 14 October 2026; EasyLlama between 8 and 12 October 2026.
| Platform | Best for | Pricing model | What stands out | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CompanyLMS | US small and mid-sized businesses that train on their own onboarding, compliance and certification content | Published. Team $4 and Business $7 per active learner a month, Enterprise $12, lower on annual billing. Team has a 25 learner minimum, Business 10. No implementation fee | Course authoring, role-based paths, certificates with automatic renewal reminders and a per-employee audit trail, billed only for active learners | No isolved Marketplace listing. Learners come in by CSV import, or by SSO and SCIM on Enterprise, and completions are not written back to isolved |
| isolved Learn & Grow | isolved People Cloud customers who want a large course catalog on the HR login | Quoted. No price on the isolved site, only a pricing request form | 95,000+ courses, AI search and curated playlists, skills insights, native to the isolved employee record | No content standard such as SCORM is named for the product, and the source of the course library is not stated |
| ProProfs Training Maker | Companies that want a listed isolved sync carrying completions and certificates | Published. $1.99, $3.99 or $4.98 per active learner a month billed annually ($23.88, $47.88 or $59.76 a year) | The lowest published rate here, 500+ ready courses, AI course builder, and the only isolved Marketplace LMS listing that describes syncing completions | HRIS sync, SSO and API are described on the top tier, Business Complete Elite |
| TalentLMS | Teams of 50 to 100 that want a low published band price | Published. Core $1,428 a year for 1 to 40 users, $1,908 for 41 to 70, $2,628 for 71 to 100, billed yearly | Cheapest published line here at 100 users | Bands count unique monthly log-ins, Core stops at 100 users, and no isolved connector is listed |
| Coggno | Companies that mostly want a large ready-made course catalog at a flat rate | Published. Prime $5 per user a month billed annually, 10 user minimum. Courses also sold one at a time from $9.95 | HRIS sync, SSO and API included on Prime with no setup fee | Confirm isolved is among its HRIS syncs before relying on it |
| EasyLlama | Companies that want a full compliance course library at a per-user rate | Published. $24.95 per course per learner a year, or $59.95 Core and $89.95 Ultimate per user a year, 10 minimum | 500+ legally vetted courses and phishing simulations on Core | A compliance library first; your own onboarding content is secondary |
| Relias | Healthcare, senior care and behavioral health providers on isolved | Quoted. Relias has no public pricing page | Accredited clinical and compliance content, with an isolved Marketplace roster feed | The feed only activates and terminates access; completions stay in Relias |
| Skillsoft | Larger companies buying a broad professional and technical library | Quoted for teams | Very large multi-modal catalog, with an isolved Marketplace demographics feed | A content library first, and a second enterprise contract next to isolved |
Pricing reflects each vendor's own pricing or help pages where they exist, and labelled third-party data where they do not. Most vendors quote privately, so treat ranges as planning anchors and confirm with each vendor.
Buying guide
isolved Learn and Grow, read from isolved pages
These facts come from the isolved learning management system page, the isolved pricing request page and the isolved Marketplace listings for ProProfs Training Maker, Relias, Skillsoft and MedBridge, all read on 14 October 2026.
Does isolved have an LMS?
Yes. isolved sells a learning management system called isolved Learn & Grow, part of the talent management side of isolved People Cloud. isolved describes it as "an end-to-end learning management system that makes it easy to deliver personalized learning and career development."
The product page lists four things: access to "95,000+ courses, configurable curricula, personalized quizzes and tailored learning paths"; AI-powered search and a chatbot that build curated playlists from the Content Library; skills insights covering "development trends, learner satisfaction and content consumption metrics"; and "courses, certifications and progress tracking" for compliance.
Read that list again and notice the weight. Three of the four points are about finding and consuming courses from a very large catalog. That is the right tool if your training is mostly ready-made content. It says much less about the other half of company training, which is teaching people your own procedures and proving, per employee and per date, that they are current.
How much does isolved Learn and Grow cost?

isolved publishes no price for Learn & Grow, and no price for anything else. The LMS page has no dollar figure on it. The site has no pricing page, only a pricing request form that says "Fill out the form today to receive a personalized quote tailored to your goals, requirements and budget" and describes "flexible pricing models" on a "modular, yet unified platform."
Modular is the word that matters. Learn & Grow is a module you add to an isolved contract, so the number you get depends on your headcount, the modules you already run and how your isolved partner or reseller packages them. Two companies of the same size can be quoted different rates.
Since the quote will come per employee, compare it to a yearly bill at your own headcount. These are published rates from vendors that print one, read on 14 October 2026:
| Learners | CompanyLMS Team ($4 a month) | CompanyLMS Business ($7 a month) | ProProfs Business Complete Elite ($59.76 a year) | TalentLMS Core, billed yearly | Coggno Prime ($5 a month, billed annually) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25 | $1,200 a year | $2,100 a year | $1,494 a year | $1,428 a year | $1,500 a year |
| 50 | $2,400 a year | $4,200 a year | $2,988 a year | $1,908 a year | $3,000 a year |
| 100 | $4,800 a year | $8,400 a year | $5,976 a year | $2,628 a year | $6,000 a year |
CompanyLMS figures use the monthly rate for twelve months with every learner active every month; annual billing is lower, and a learner who is idle in a month is not billed at all. TalentLMS bands count unique monthly log-ins, and at 100 users it is the cheapest line in the table. ProProfs is shown on the tier that includes HRIS sync, because that is the tier its isolved integration needs. Ask isolved for the Learn & Grow rate per employee per month in writing, with the contract length and any content fee, then put it next to this table.
What isolved Learn and Grow includes, and what to confirm before you sign
Everything below is from the isolved LMS page as it stood on 14 October 2026. The right-hand column is the question the page leaves open.
| What isolved states | What to confirm in writing |
|---|---|
| "95,000+ courses" in a Content Library | Whether the whole library is in your quote or is a separate content subscription |
| "Configurable curricula" and "tailored learning paths" | Whether you can upload your own videos, PDFs and SCORM packages into a path |
| "Personalized quizzes" | Whether you can write your own questions and set a pass mark |
| "Courses, certifications and progress tracking" | Whether a certification carries an expiry date and sends renewal reminders |
| AI search, chatbot and curated playlists | Whether these are in the base module or a higher tier |
| Skills insights and consumption metrics | Whether completions export per employee for an auditor |
The 95,000 figure deserves one specific question. isolved does not say where the courses come from. Go1, the course aggregator, ran a partner page (archived copy dated 2 October 2023) stating that isolved "has expanded their learning solution offerings with Go1." Another payroll suite that advertises the same 95,000 figure prints "Go1 subscription required" at the foot of its page. isolved prints no such note, so it may well be included. Ask.
On formats, isolved names no content standard for Learn & Grow. SCORM appears once on the page, in a general FAQ answer about what "the best LMS platforms" support, not in the description of the product. If you plan to buy third-party SCORM courses or move packages over from an older system, get SCORM playback and completion reporting confirmed before you commit.
Which LMS integrates with isolved?
More than most payroll suites list. The isolved Marketplace carried 221 partner listings when we read it on 14 October 2026, and four of them are training platforms. What each connector actually moves is spelled out on its listing:
| LMS on the isolved Marketplace | What the integration does, per the listing | Direction |
|---|---|---|
| ProProfs Training Maker | "Automatically syncs employee records, course assignments, completions, and certificates" | Employee data out, training records synced |
| Relias | A Report Writer employee demographic feed that "activates and terminates access in the Relias LMS" | isolved to Relias only |
| Skillsoft | An employee demographics file with company, job, work location, supervisor and status; employees are "activated or deactivated" | isolved to Skillsoft only |
| MedBridge | A users file sent daily and a clinics file sent weekly; users missing from the file are removed | isolved to MedBridge only |
Three of the four are roster feeds. They create and switch off accounts so that a new hire can start training on day one and a leaver loses access. They do not write completions back into the isolved employee record. ProProfs is the only listing that describes completions and certificates in the sync.
Every listing ends with the same line: "Availability varies based on your organization's configuration. Please reach out to your sales representative to confirm." Treat a Marketplace tile as a possibility and get the connector confirmed for your account.
Any other LMS, CompanyLMS included, works from an employee export. You pull a report from isolved, import it as a CSV, and repeat it when people join or leave. For a company under a few hundred people that is a five minute job each month. If you run a different payroll system at a sister company, the same question is answered on our ADP LMS alternatives and Paylocity LMS alternatives pages.
isolved training for employees on your own procedures

isolved handles the paperwork side of a hire well: payroll, onboarding forms, benefits, time. A catalog of 95,000 courses covers the generic side of training well: harassment prevention, Excel, leadership basics. Neither covers the thing a new hire most needs in week one, which is how your company does the job. The opening checklist, the machine changeover, the client intake script, the returns policy.
In CompanyLMS a manager builds that course in minutes from a template, a video or a PDF, adds a quiz with a pass mark, groups courses into an onboarding path for a role and assigns it on day one. Mark a course as a certification, set how long it lasts, and each person gets a reminder before it lapses. Completions, scores and expiry dates sit on one record per employee and export to CSV for an inspector, an insurer or a customer audit.
Billing counts only learners who were active that month, at $4 on Team or $7 on Business, with lower rates on annual billing. Seasonal staff who finish training and go quiet stop costing anything. You can build a first course in the course studio at the top of this page before you talk to anyone.
isolved LMS alternatives by situation
Stay with Learn & Grow if your training is mostly ready-made courses, you want it on the isolved login and invoice, and the quoted rate per employee is acceptable once the content library question is answered.
Pick ProProfs Training Maker if a listed isolved sync that carries completions matters most. Its published rate is the lowest here at $1.99 to $4.98 per active learner a month billed annually, and HRIS sync sits on the top tier.
Pick Relias or MedBridge if you are a healthcare or therapy provider that needs accredited clinical content. Both feed from isolved and both price by quote.
Pick TalentLMS if you want the lowest published bill at 50 to 100 users and can live inside a fixed user band.
Add CompanyLMS if the job is onboarding on your own material, compliance records and certifications with expiry dates, and you want a price you can read today. It runs next to isolved through a CSV import, with nothing to install on the payroll side. For a wider shortlist see LMS for small business, and for the renewal side see certification tracking software.
Why teams pick CompanyLMS
One platform for courses, onboarding, compliance and certifications
A price you can read today
isolved quotes Learn & Grow as a module. CompanyLMS publishes its rates and bills only learners active that month, so you can budget a rollout this afternoon without a sales cycle.
Built for your own procedures
A 95,000 course catalog does not contain your opening checklist or your machine changeover. Every paid CompanyLMS plan builds a course from a template, video or PDF in minutes, with quizzes built in.
Certifications with expiry dates
Mark any course as a certification, set how long it lasts, and CompanyLMS reminds each person before it lapses and keeps a per-employee audit trail you can export as CSV.
