Most LMS vendors publish a long integration list and a much shorter list of what your plan includes. 360Learning puts SSO on Business, not on its published $8 Team plan. Continu holds the API and webhooks back to Enterprise, which starts at 5,000 monthly active users. Docebo counts your integrations, four on Elevate and six on Enterprise, and sells the Microsoft Teams and Salesforce connectors as paid add-ons. MoodleCloud states plainly that you cannot install any plugin or integration on any tier. Read the plan matrix, not the logo wall.

The shortlist

LMS integrations by platform, and which plan unlocks them

Every integration claim below was read first-hand from the vendor integration page or pricing page on the date shown. Where a vendor does not state a plan gate, this says so rather than guessing. Vendors move features between tiers, so confirm the two or three you shortlist in writing before you sign.

Platform Best for Plan gate on integrations What stands out Watch out for
CompanyLMS US companies from 25 to about 5,000 employees that need an HRIS sync, completion data out and certification tracking in one platform Integrations start on Business, a published $7 per active learner a month, $6 billed annually. SSO and SCIM are on Enterprise, which is quoted. No cap on how many systems you connect and no per-connector fee The gate sits on a tier whose price is printed. You can budget an integrated rollout before you book a call, which is not possible with six of the eleven platforms here We do not publish named turnkey connectors for Workday or SuccessFactors. If you need a certified marketplace connector rather than an API-built sync, Absorb and Cornerstone are the more honest recommendation
Absorb LMS Mid-market and enterprise buyers with a large HR estate who want prebuilt connectors rather than an integration project No plan gate stated on the integrations page, and no rates published anywhere (read 30 Aug 2026). Quoted per active learner across eight bands from 1-50 up to 25,000+ The deepest named HRIS list here, read first-hand: ADP Vantage, Next Gen and Workforce Now, BambooHR, Namely, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG Pro, Dayforce and Deputy. Plus Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk Sell, NetSuite ERP, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, Zoom, WebEx, Credly, Eventbrite and Marketo, with a RESTful API and webhooks that fire on course completion and user signup Microsoft Teams, Okta and Zapier are not named on that integrations page, which surprises buyers who assume Teams is universal. Nothing on the page tells you which band or tier any connector needs, so you learn the gate in the quote
Docebo Large organizations training employees, customers and partners from one platform, with budget for connectors as a line item Counts your integrations by tier (read 24 Aug 2026): up to four included on Elevate, six on Enterprise, then professional services. API call ceiling rises to 100 a minute on Enterprise only. No rates published Enterprise adds a dedicated database, extended enterprise across up to ten domains and a doubled sandbox, which is the right shape for a genuinely federated integration estate. Also ships an MCP server and AgentHub for AI-side connections Microsoft Teams and Salesforce sit among fourteen paid add-ons rather than in the plan, and Skills Intelligence is now sold separately as 365Talents. An integration counter is unusual in this category and it is easy to miss in a proposal
TalentLMS Departments and smaller companies that want SSO and an API on the cheapest paid tier with no sales call No plan gate stated on the integrations page (read 30 Aug 2026), and the published rate card confirms SSO, custom domain, API and LTI 1.3 all ship on the entry Core tier at $119 a month for 1 to 40 users The most generous entry tier here by a wide margin. Named first-hand: BambooHR, Sage People and ADP Workforce Now for HR, Salesforce, HubSpot, Intercom and Zendesk for CRM, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoTo and BigBlueButton for meetings, Okta, OneLogin, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect for identity, plus Zapier, Slack, Mailchimp, Trello, PayPal, Stripe, Shopify, LinkedIn Learning, OpenSesame and LTI 1.3 Workday is not on the list. For a Workday shop that is disqualifying, and it is the single most common reason a TalentLMS shortlist collapses late. Pricing is banded on monthly logins, so 41 users costs the same as 70
360Learning Collaborative learning programs where subject experts author courses and the platform sits beside Teams and Slack SSO and the Microsoft Teams or Zoom webinar integration appear only on Business and Enterprise (read 30 Aug 2026). The published $8 per user a month Team plan, up to 100 users, does not include them Its FAQ names Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and BambooHR for HRIS, plus Microsoft Teams, Slack and Zoom, described as available out of the box. The Team plan is billed monthly with no annual commitment, which is genuinely rare A published $8 rate that excludes SSO is the sharpest plan gate on this page. Any company with an identity provider is buying Business, which is custom-quoted, so the visible price does not apply to them. Both integration rows carry an asterisk on the feature matrix
Continu Modern L&D teams of roughly 500 to 50,000 that mostly need meeting and chat integrations rather than a data pipeline API access and webhooks are Enterprise only, and Enterprise starts at 5,000 monthly active users (read 26 Aug 2026). No rates published The entry Growth tier is unusually complete: SAML 2.0 SSO, SCORM 1.2 and 2004, custom reporting, automation workflows and Slack, Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams integrations are all included under 1,000 monthly active users A 1,200-person company that needs to write completions into a data warehouse is three tiers away from an API. That is the widest gap between what the entry tier does well and what it cannot do at all, anywhere on this page
LearnUpon Companies above 100 users running employee, customer and partner academies from separate portals No plan gate published, because no plans or rates are published at all (read 23 Aug 2026). User floors instead: 100 for Employees, 150 for Associations, 300 for Customer Education A two-way API, webhooks, HRIS, HubSpot, Salesforce and Zapier connectors, and now a Reporting MCP server for AI-side queries. Content comes through Go1 rather than a proprietary catalog Its own pricing FAQ states it will not be a fit under 100 users, on-premise, or where HIPAA compliance is required. Because nothing is published, every integration question is answered in a sales call rather than on a page
SAP Litmos SAP-estate companies that want learning inside a stack they already run SSO, custom domain with SSL, custom roles, LTI, webhooks, the learning record store and the ADP, Box, DocuSign, Namely and Shopify integrations all sit above the entry Foundation tier (read 22 Aug 2026). No rates published on any of the three tiers The natural choice if SAP SuccessFactors is already your system of record, and the tier matrix is at least explicit about what Foundation excludes The API is capped at 100 requests per minute per site regardless of tier, which matters for nightly bulk syncs. Foundation is close to unusable for an integrated rollout, so the real entry point is a tier with no published price
iSpring LMS Teams that author in PowerPoint and want an API without negotiating for it The pricing page states an API for custom integrations is included across all plans (read 30 Aug 2026). Business is priced per active user: about 6.61 EUR a month at 100 users, 4.25 at 300, 3.78 at 500 One of only two platforms here that puts an API on every paid tier. An active user is defined as someone who logged in at least once during a month, so a quiet month costs less The pricing page does not state which tier includes SSO or list named HRIS connectors, so identity and HR sync are questions for the sales call. Prices are in euros, which adds an FX line for US finance teams
Sana Learn Enterprises above 300 users that want an AI-native platform wired into a modern HR stack No plan gate published and no fixed rate. A calculator returns an indicative per user per month figure based on a 3-year contract and excluding a one-off implementation fee (read 26 Aug 2026). Plans start at 300 users Names direct connectors to Workday, Okta, Salesforce, HiBob, Personio, Cornerstone, SAP Litmos, Degreed and Coursera, and its FAQ states explicitly that you do not need to be a Workday customer to use it. SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, SAML SSO, audit logging and regional deploys Billed per provisioned user, meaning every seat you create through that HRIS sync is billable whether the person ever logs in. An automated Workday sync and provisioned-seat pricing is the most expensive combination on this page
MoodleCloud Small programs under 750 users that need a hosted Moodle and nothing connected to it No integrations on any tier. The pricing page states: to keep our plan costs low and your site simple to manage, you are not able to install any plugins or integrations (read 30 Aug 2026) The cheapest per user here, from $170 a year for 50 users to $2,150 for 750, and Stripe for selling courses is available from the Small plan up. A custom domain is an add-on at $160 AUD a year on Medium and included on Standard The plugin ban is absolute and it is the whole reason companies leave MoodleCloud. Moodle self-hosted has thousands of plugins, but then you own the servers, the upgrades and roughly a quarter to a full engineering role. The hard 750-user ceiling ends the conversation for most growing companies

Pricing reflects publicly reported figures and third-party marketplace data as of August 2026. Most vendors quote privately, so treat ranges as planning anchors and confirm with each vendor.

Buying guide

LMS integrations, question by question

The five questions buyers actually ask, answered from the vendor pages rather than from listing sites.

Which LMS integrates with Workday?

Of the eleven platforms compared here, three name a Workday connector on the page we read: Absorb LMS lists Workday in its HCM integrations alongside ADP, BambooHR, Namely, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG Pro, Dayforce and Deputy; 360Learning names Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and BambooHR in its pricing FAQ as available out of the box; and Sana Learn lists Workday among its direct connectors and states in its own FAQ that you do not need to be a Workday customer to use the platform. TalentLMS, notably, does not list Workday anywhere on its integrations page.

That last point matters more than it looks. TalentLMS is otherwise the most integration-friendly platform on this page, shipping SAML SSO, an API and LTI 1.3 on its cheapest paid tier. If your HR system is Workday, none of that helps, and the shortlist collapses late in the process when someone finally asks. Check the connector before you check the price.

PlatformNamed HRIS connectorsWorkday named

MoodleCloudNone. Plugins and integrations cannot be installedNo

If your HR system is not on any vendor list, the fallback is an API-built sync, and then the question becomes which plan includes the API. That is a different gate, and it is covered below.

The plan gate is where LMS integrations get expensive

Almost every vendor markets integrations as a platform capability and sells them as a tier feature. The logo wall is accurate. It just describes the product, not your plan. Four platforms here state a plan gate on SSO or the API outright, and one caps how many connectors you get.

360Learning publishes $8 per user per month for its Team plan and puts SAML SSO on Business, which is custom-quoted. Any company with Okta or Entra ID is therefore not buying the plan whose price is on the page. Continu includes SAML SSO on its entry Growth tier, which is genuinely generous, then holds the API and webhooks back to Enterprise, which starts at 5,000 monthly active users. SAP Litmos keeps SSO, custom domain with SSL, LTI, webhooks and the ADP and Namely connectors above its entry Foundation tier. CompanyLMS puts integrations on Business at a published $7 per active learner and SSO with SCIM on Enterprise, which is quoted. We are on this list too, and the point of the page is that you should know where each gate sits before the call.

Docebo uses a different mechanism: it includes up to four integrations on Elevate and six on Enterprise, and raises the API ceiling to 100 calls a minute only on Enterprise. Microsoft Teams and Salesforce are among its fourteen paid add-ons. An integration counter is rare enough that buyers routinely miss it in a proposal and discover it during implementation, when the fifth connector turns into a professional services quote.

The exception worth naming is TalentLMS, which ships SAML 2.0, LDAP, Active Directory, OpenID Connect, an API and LTI 1.3 on Core at $119 a month for up to 40 users. iSpring states an API for custom integrations on every plan. Those two are the only entry tiers here you can build a real integration on without a negotiation.

Which LMS integrates with Salesforce, and which with Microsoft Teams?

Salesforce is the best-covered connector in this category, because customer and partner training is a large slice of LMS revenue. Absorb ships a no-code Salesforce Connector with single sign-on built in, so training opens inside the Salesforce interface. TalentLMS names Salesforce in its CRM group. LearnUpon names Salesforce and HubSpot. Sana names Salesforce. Docebo sells a Salesforce connector, but as a paid add-on rather than in the plan.

Microsoft Teams is patchier than most buyers expect. TalentLMS names Teams. Continu names Teams on its entry Growth tier. 360Learning names Teams but places the Teams or Zoom webinar integration on Business and above. Docebo sells Teams as a paid add-on. Absorb, on the integrations page read for this comparison, does not name Microsoft Teams at all, and also does not name Okta or Zapier there, which is worth confirming directly if any of those three are load-bearing for you.

Two practical notes. A Teams integration usually means one of two very different things: launching a webinar from a course, or surfacing assignments in a Teams channel. Ask which one you are being sold. And a CRM integration that only pushes enrollment records is not the same as one that writes training status back onto the account record, which is what customer success teams actually want. Our customer onboarding LMS comparison goes deeper on the second case.

LMS HRIS integration: what to check before you sign

An HRIS sync is the integration that carries the most weight in a compliance program, because it decides whether a new hire is enrolled on day one and whether a leaver stops appearing in your audit reports. Five things are worth getting in writing, and none of them appear on an integrations page.

Direction and frequency. Most connectors are one-way, HRIS to LMS, on a nightly batch. If your onboarding SLA is same-day, a nightly sync means a new hire waits until tomorrow. Ask whether the sync is event-driven or scheduled, and if scheduled, whether you can change the interval.

Deprovisioning. This is the one auditors find. SSO alone does not remove an account, it only stops the person logging in through your identity provider. Without SCIM or a delete-on-termination rule in the connector, terminated employees stay in the system as active records and your headcount-based invoice quietly keeps counting them. SCIM provisioning is rarely stated on a pricing page anywhere in this category, including ours, so ask.

Which fields map. Department, location, manager, job title and hire date are what drive automatic course assignment. A connector that only syncs name and email leaves you assigning courses by hand, which is the work you were trying to remove.

What happens on a rehire or a transfer. A rehired employee with a new HRIS record usually arrives as a new user, and their old training history does not follow. For a compliance program with multi-year retention obligations that is a records problem, not an inconvenience. Our guide to how long to keep employee training records covers the retention side, and HRIS to LMS integration for onboarding works through the day-one sequence.

Who builds it. A named marketplace connector is configuration. Anything else is a project, and the vendor will quote it as professional services. Docebo is explicit that integrations past your included count are professional services. Get the difference confirmed before the contract, because it is often the largest hidden line in year one.

How much do LMS integrations cost?

Rarely as a separate price, and almost always as a tier. There are four ways a vendor charges you for connecting systems, and it is worth knowing which one you are looking at.

Tier gating is the most common. The integration is included, but only from a plan you have to move up to. 360Learning to Business for SSO, Continu to Enterprise for the API, SAP Litmos above Foundation, CompanyLMS to Business for integrations and Enterprise for SSO and SCIM. The cost of the integration is the price difference between the tiers, which for a quote-only upper tier is unknown until you ask.

Counting is rarer and more surprising. Docebo includes four integrations on Elevate and six on Enterprise. The fifth connector on Elevate has a real price and it is a professional services quote.

Paid add-ons are explicit line items. Docebo sells Microsoft Teams and Salesforce this way, among fourteen add-ons in total. Skilljar sells a Data Connector from $25,000.

Implementation is where the money usually is. A mid-market rollout with SSO and an HRIS sync typically runs four to eight weeks of project time, against two to four for a self-serve platform with no integrations. An enterprise suite runs eight to sixteen, and migrating historical training records adds three to six more. Sana states a one-off implementation fee on its pricing page. Trainual publishes $1,000. Most others quote it.

A reasonable planning number for a mid-market company connecting an HRIS and an identity provider: the tier step plus four to eight weeks of internal project time, and a vendor professional services quote only if the connector is not on the marketplace list. Full cost context is in our enterprise LMS pricing breakdown and corporate LMS pricing for smaller programs.

How to pick, in the order that saves the most time

Run the disqualifying check first. Write down your HRIS, your identity provider and the one system that has to receive completion data, then check those three against each shortlisted vendor before you look at a single price. Three of the eleven platforms here name Workday. One cannot install any integration at all. That check takes twenty minutes and removes vendors that would otherwise cost you a month of discovery calls.

Second, find the gate. For each survivor, identify the exact plan that includes SSO, the API and your HRIS connector, and get the price of that plan rather than the plan on the pricing page. This is where published rates stop being comparable: 360Learning shows $8 and Continu shows nothing, but the plan you would actually buy is custom-quoted in both cases.

Third, ask about deprovisioning and field mapping in writing, before the contract. Those two answers determine whether the integration removes work or just moves it.

If your program is compliance-led, the connectors that matter are the HRIS and the identity provider, and everything else is convenience. See the best compliance training software for that shortlist, or enterprise LMS software for the governance requirements that separate the tiers. Head to head, Docebo vs Absorb LMS covers the two deepest connector estates, and the LMS comparison chart sets fifteen platforms side by side. When it is time to write the requirement down, the LMS RFP template turns each question on this page into a line a vendor has to answer.

Why teams pick CompanyLMS

One platform for courses, onboarding, compliance and certifications

Integrations on a published tier

Integrations start on Business at $7 per active learner a month, a rate on our pricing page. You do not have to reach a 5,000-user Enterprise threshold to sync an HRIS or pull completion data out.

No connector counter

There is no cap on how many systems you connect, and no per-connector line item. The two platforms here that count your integrations both raise the number as you move up a tier.

We name our own gate

SSO and SCIM are on our Enterprise plan and this page says so. That is the same shape as several vendors here, and the point of the comparison is that you should know where every gate sits before a sales call, not after.

Good questions

Most LMS platforms vs CompanyLMS, answered

An LMS integration is a connection between your learning platform and another system, so data moves without anyone retyping it. The four that matter are an HRIS sync that creates and removes users, an identity provider for single sign-on, a meeting tool for live sessions, and an API or webhook that pushes completion records into reporting.

Of the eleven platforms compared here, three name a Workday connector on their own pages: Absorb LMS, 360Learning and Sana Learn. TalentLMS does not list Workday anywhere on its integrations page, which disqualifies it for many Workday shops. Anything not on a vendor list has to be built against the API, which puts you back on the plan gate.

Usually as a tier rather than a line item. 360Learning puts SSO on Business, Continu holds the API to Enterprise, and SAP Litmos keeps most connectors above Foundation. Docebo is the exception that charges directly: it includes four integrations on Elevate and six on Enterprise, and sells Microsoft Teams and Salesforce as paid add-ons.

No. MoodleCloud states on its pricing page that to keep plan costs low and sites simple to manage, you are not able to install any plugins or integrations, on any tier. Stripe for selling courses is available from the Small plan. Self-hosted Moodle supports thousands of plugins, but you then own hosting, upgrades and roughly a quarter to a full engineering role.

Absorb LMS names the deepest list read first-hand: ADP Vantage, Next Gen and Workforce Now, BambooHR, Namely, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG Pro, Dayforce and Deputy. Depth is not the only test though. Ask about deprovisioning, sync frequency and which fields map, because a connector that syncs only name and email leaves the assignment work with you.

A named integration is configuration: you authenticate, map a few fields and it runs. An API is raw capability that someone has to build against, usually a few days of engineering per system. Vendors gate them differently. iSpring includes an API on every plan, while Continu holds both the API and webhooks to Enterprise, from 5,000 monthly active users.

TalentLMS names Teams on its integrations page, Continu includes Teams on its entry Growth tier, and 360Learning offers a Teams or Zoom webinar integration but only on Business and above. Docebo sells Teams as a paid add-on. Absorb does not name Microsoft Teams on the integrations page read for this comparison.

SSO controls login. SCIM controls existence. Without SCIM or an equivalent rule in your HRIS connector, a terminated employee keeps an active LMS account, appears in compliance reports and may still count toward a headcount-based invoice. SSO alone leaves manual deprovisioning, and that is the gap auditors find most often in a learning platform.

TalentLMS and Continu. TalentLMS ships SAML 2.0, LDAP, Active Directory, OpenID Connect, an API and LTI 1.3 on Core at $119 a month for up to 40 users. Continu includes SAML 2.0 SSO on Growth, under 1,000 monthly active users, though the API stays on Enterprise. Most other platforms here hold SSO back at least one tier.

A marketplace connector to an HRIS or identity provider is usually a day or two of configuration plus a testing cycle. A rollout with SSO and an HRIS sync typically takes four to eight weeks end to end at mid-market size, against two to four weeks for a self-serve platform with no integrations. Custom API work adds a few days per system.
