Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of CompanyLMS, the corporate learning management system that trains, onboards and certifies your team in one platform. Last updated: June 2026.

Acceptance of these terms

By using companylms.com or signing up for CompanyLMS, you agree to these terms of service. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What CompanyLMS is

CompanyLMS is a corporate learning management system. You build courses, assign role-based onboarding and compliance paths, deliver training on any device, and track each learner's progress, skills and certifications in one platform. It is offered on paid plans, priced per active learner per month.

You are responsible for the training content you publish and the decisions you make based on training records. CompanyLMS delivers and tracks training, but you remain responsible for the accuracy of your course content and for meeting any legal or regulatory training obligations that apply to your organization.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for using the service in line with all laws that apply to you, including employment, data protection and privacy laws, and any training or compliance regulations relevant to your industry. You agree to provide accurate information, to only upload course content and learner data you have the right to use, and to obtain any consent your learners are entitled to. You are responsible for reviewing your training records and for the decisions you make.

Acceptable use

CompanyLMS is intended for legitimate workforce training use by employers, teams and organizations training employees, customers or partners. You agree to use the service responsibly and to comply with all applicable laws and platform policies.

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Upload learner data you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy.
  • Train or track learners without the notice or consent required where you operate.
  • Publish content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the rights to distribute.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service or circumvent its limits.
  • Resell or redistribute the service except under a written agreement with us.

You are responsible for the learner data you submit and for how you use the training records the service produces.

Your content and data

As between you and us, you keep all rights to the courses, content and learner data you submit and to the training records you receive. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process that data and provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell your data and we do not use your learner data to train public models or for anyone else's marketing.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep any credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including the actions of your admins and learners. On Enterprise, single sign-on and SCIM provisioning are available to manage access. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or access has been used without your permission.

Plans, billing and refunds

CompanyLMS is offered on paid plans, including Team, Business and Enterprise. All prices and charges are in US dollars. Plans are priced per active learner per month, with the Team plan subject to a minimum number of learners, and annual billing available at a discount. Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the term you choose, until cancelled. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change our plans and prices, and we will give notice of changes that affect an active subscription.

Service availability

We work to keep CompanyLMS available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change or temporarily suspend features to maintain and improve the service.

Intellectual property

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompanyLMS and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from any training or compliance decision you make. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and cancel your plan. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others, to learners or to the platform.
