Compare · Traliant
Traliant pricing and Traliant training cost per learner
Traliant publishes three plans, from $13.95 to $30.95 per learner a year, but every rate is stated for 500 learners on a 3-year plan. Smaller teams and shorter terms pay more.
Here is what each plan covers, what a team of 25 to 1,000 pays, and where a platform for your own courses fits.
Courses, onboarding & compliance · one platform · per active learner
Traliant is a US compliance training vendor with 40 attorney-built Learning Topics, sold in three published plans with a Core platform included and a Plus platform add-on. It is one of the few vendors in this market that prints a rate, and the rate comes with a condition: 500 learners on a 3-year term. CompanyLMS is the platform half of the job, for training employees on your own policies, onboarding and certifications at a published rate per active learner.

Traliant alternatives and what each one charges
Five options a US HR or compliance lead weighs against a Traliant quote. Four publish a rate you can read today: CompanyLMS, Traliant, EasyLlama and Ethena. NAVEX does not. Every vendor page was read on 23 October 2026.
| Platform | Best for | Pricing model | What stands out | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CompanyLMS | US small and mid-sized companies training on their own policies, procedures and certifications | Published. Team $4, Business $7 and Enterprise $12 per active learner a month, or $3, $6 and $9 billed annually. Team and Enterprise start at 25 learners, Business at 10 | Authoring from a PDF or video, role-based assignment, certificates with expiry dates and reminders, billed only for learners active that month | No bundled compliance course library. Pair it with a content vendor if you need ready-made state harassment courses |
| Traliant | HR and legal teams that want attorney-built courses with a published starting rate | Published per learner a year: Essential from $13.95 (1 Topic), Pro from $21.95 (3 Topics or 1 Track), Complete from $30.95 (all 40). Plus from $3.99. $27 per course in the small business store. Enterprise by quote | SSO and delivery into your own LMS on every plan, state-specific harassment editions, attorney Q&A on Plus | Rates are stated for 500 learners on a 3-year plan; teams under 25 buy course by course at $27 a learner |
| EasyLlama | SMB and mid-market teams that want one per-user number and self-serve setup | Published per user a year: Core $59.95, Ultimate $89.95. Pay Per Course $24.95 per course assignment, 10 course minimum | 500+ legally vetted courses on Core, phishing simulations on Core, SCORM import and AI course authoring on Ultimate | 10-user minimum sold in steps of 5, no free trial (demo only) |
| Ethena | Companies that mainly need state harassment and workplace violence training plus a short core catalog | Published per learner a year: $20 for the Harassment and Workplace Violence Prevention bundle, $50 for the entire catalog. Card checkout under 100 employees | Magic-link login, Slack and email reminders, self-serve Rippling, Gusto and BambooHR sync | SSO, Workday and ADP sync, SCORM files and policy attestation sit on Premium, which shows no price; hotline costs extra |
| NAVEX One Ethics & Compliance Training | Regulated mid-market and enterprise programs that want training, hotline and policy tools from one vendor | Quote only. No dollar amount on its training, Compliance Professional or small business pages | 130+ courses and 40+ microlearnings vetted by Baker McKenzie, SCORM, AICC and cmi5 hosting | Nothing to budget against before a sales call |
Pricing reflects each vendor's own pricing or help pages where they exist, and labelled third-party data where they do not. Most vendors quote privately, so treat ranges as planning anchors and confirm with each vendor.
Buying guide
Traliant pricing, read from Traliant pages
These facts come from the Traliant pricing page and the Traliant small business course store, both read on 23 October 2026. Totals are our arithmetic on the published rates.
How much does Traliant cost?
Traliant costs $13.95 per learner a year for one Learning Topic on Essential, $21.95 for three Topics on Pro, and $30.95 for all 40 Topics on Complete. The Plus platform adds $3.99 per learner a year. Those are starting rates, and the pricing page says exactly what they assume: "Prices shown are for 500 learners on a 3-year plan."
That condition matters more than the rate. Traliant says two things move your price, "how many people you train and how long your term is", and that per-learner pricing drops as headcount grows and longer terms cost less per year. Read the published figures as a floor for a 500-person company signing for three years. A 150-person company on a one-year term should expect to pay more per learner than the card shows, and a 5,000-person company should expect to negotiate below it.
Every plan includes Core: delivery on the Traliant LMS or your own, automatic assignments and completion reporting, single sign-on, translations into 100+ languages, and your logo and policies added during setup.
Traliant pricing by plan
Each plan is built from Learning Topics. A Topic is one workplace subject, such as harassment prevention, workplace violence, FMLA or data privacy, delivered as a foundational course plus Micro Reels and refreshers through the year. Traliant lists 40 Topics and 6 Learning Tracks.
| Plan | Starting rate per learner a year | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | $13.95 | Any 1 of 40 Learning Topics, such as harassment prevention or data privacy, with Micro Reels and refreshers through the year |
| Pro | $21.95 | Any 3 Learning Topics, or 1 Learning Track (a set of 4 or more related Topics built around one risk) |
| Complete | $30.95 | All 40 Learning Topics, all 6 Learning Tracks, 500+ resources, phishing simulations for every learner, new Topics as released |
| Core platform | Included | Delivery on the Traliant LMS or yours, automatic assignments and completion reporting, SSO, 100+ languages, logo and policies added at setup |
| Plus platform | From $3.99 | Behavioral Analytics, editing courses yourself, HR system connection, hosting your own courses, written questions and 1:1 time with Traliant attorneys |
| Enterprise | Quote | A custom program built from any plan, usually with implementation support and deeper customization |
Add-ons are priced in the quote rather than on the page: custom course creation, premium human translation, customization packages, case management and hotline, workplace violence consultation, policy review, an employee handbook service and workplace investigations training.
What Traliant costs at 25, 100, 500 and 1,000 learners
Here is the published rate multiplied out for a year. Treat every figure below 500 learners as a minimum: the card rate is the 500-learner, 3-year price, so a smaller company or a shorter term lands above these numbers.
| Learners | Essential (1 Topic) | Pro (3 Topics) | Complete | Complete with Plus |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25 | $349 | $549 | $774 | $874 |
| 100 | $1,395 | $2,195 | $3,095 | $3,494 |
| 500 | $6,975 | $10,975 | $15,475 | $17,470 |
| 1,000 | $13,950 | $21,950 | $30,950 | $34,940 |
Two things stand out. First, the gap between Essential and Complete is only $17 per learner, so a company that needs harassment prevention plus two or three other subjects is usually better off on Pro or Complete than buying Topics one by one. Second, Plus is cheap relative to the plans ($3.99 against $30.95), and it is where the HR system connection and hosting your own courses live, so most buyers who want automatic enrollment end up paying for it.
How much is Traliant harassment training per employee for a small business?
For a team under 25, Traliant harassment training is $27.00 per learner for each course, bought online. The pricing page counter routes small orders differently from large ones, and the course store prices each title on its own.
| Team size | How Traliant sells it | What the price looks like |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 24 learners | Buy now sends you to the Traliant online course store | $27.00 per learner for each course; add your policy for $45, a Spanish version for $50 |
| 25 to 99 learners | Buy now switches to a small business order form | Plan rates apply; the headline figures are the 500-learner, 3-year floor, so expect more per learner |
| 100 learners and up | The button becomes Get a quote | Priced by plan, headcount and term length; longer terms cost less per year |
So a 20-person office buying its US sexual harassment course pays $540, or $585 with its own policy added, and a second course doubles it. That is roughly twice the Essential headline rate per learner, which is the honest cost of buying without volume or a multi-year term. For a team that only needs the state-mandated harassment course once a year, the store is still simple and fast. For a team that also wants its own onboarding, safety and policy training tracked, a platform priced per learner covers more for the money.
Traliant Core vs Plus, and what Plus adds for $3.99
Core comes with every plan and covers running a program: delivery on Traliant's LMS or yours, automatic assignments, tracking and completion reporting, SSO, 100+ languages, mobile-friendly and accessibility-conformant courses, and your logo and policies added during setup.
Plus, from $3.99 per learner a year, adds five things Traliant describes as being for "teams that are scaling": Behavioral Analytics, editing courses yourself (images, text and slides), connecting your HR system to assign training automatically, hosting your own courses in the Traliant LMS alongside theirs, and Ask Compliance plus Compliance Officer Hours with Traliant's in-house attorneys. Traliant says you can start with Core and add Plus later.
If your main reason for Plus is hosting your own courses, compare it with a platform built for that job. Traliant's LMS is built around its own catalog; your handbook, SOPs and certifications are a secondary use.
Traliant pricing against EasyLlama, Ethena and NAVEX
Four of the five names US buyers usually compare print a number, which makes this one of the more transparent corners of the training market. Here is the same job, a full compliance catalog for 500 learners, priced on each card.
| Vendor | Harassment training only | Full catalog | 500 learners, full catalog, per year | Conditions on the rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Traliant | $13.95 (Essential, 1 Topic) | $30.95 (Complete), $34.94 with Plus | $15,475, or $17,470 with Plus | Stated for 500 learners on a 3-year plan |
| EasyLlama | $24.95 per course assignment, 10 course minimum | $59.95 per user (Core) | $29,975 | 10-user minimum, sold in steps of 5 |
| Ethena | $20 (Harassment and Workplace Violence bundle) | $50 (entire catalog) | $25,000 | None stated; card checkout under 100 employees |
| NAVEX | No published rate | No published rate | Quote only | Usually sold inside a wider NAVEX One bundle |
On published rates Traliant is the cheapest full catalog of the three that print one, as long as you fit its 500-learner, 3-year assumption. EasyLlama costs more per user but bundles phishing simulations and over 500 courses on Core with no stated term. Ethena is the simplest buy for a company under 100 employees that mainly needs harassment training. Our Ethena vs Traliant pricing and EasyLlama vs Traliant pricing comparisons work through the break-even points at 50 to 1,000 learners.
Training on your own policies, priced per active learner

A compliance library covers the subjects the law names. It does not cover your employee handbook, your safety procedures, your new-hire onboarding or the certifications your crews have to renew. That is where most of the training hours in a US small or mid-sized company actually go, and it is what CompanyLMS is built for.
You build a course from a PDF, a video or a template, attach a quiz with a pass mark, assign it by role, team or location, and every employee gets a dated completion record you can export. Certifications carry an expiry date with reminders before they lapse. Pricing is published: $4, $7 or $12 per active learner a month, or $3, $6 and $9 billed annually, and you pay only for people who trained that month.
Plenty of companies run both: Traliant or another vendor for the state harassment course, CompanyLMS for everything specific to how they work. See compliance training software pricing for budgets at 100, 500 and 5,000 employees.
Questions to ask before you sign a Traliant quote
- What is my per-learner rate at my real headcount and term? The card rate assumes 500 learners and three years. Ask for one-year and three-year figures side by side.
- Do I need Plus? If you want new hires enrolled automatically from your HR system, or want to host your own courses, the answer is yes, so price it in from the start.
- Which add-ons are in the number? Custom courses, premium translation, hotline and policy review are quoted separately.
- What happens to learners who leave mid-term? Ask whether seats are counted by named learner or by headcount at renewal.
- Can we deliver into our own LMS? Core says yes. Confirm the format and how completions flow back.
- What does year two cost? Get the renewal uplift in writing before you sign a multi-year term.
Why teams pick CompanyLMS
One platform for courses, onboarding, compliance and certifications
A rate with no term attached
CompanyLMS prints its price per active learner and bills monthly or annually. There is no 500-learner, 3-year assumption to discount back from, so the number on the page is the number on the invoice.
Your handbook as the course
Upload a policy PDF or record a short video, add a quiz with a pass mark and assign it by role or location. Every completion is dated and exportable for an audit or an insurer.
Annual renewals on autopilot
Mark yearly harassment or safety training as a certification with an expiry date, and CompanyLMS reminds each person and their manager before it lapses.
