Tovuti LMS Pricing and Cost From $7,500 a Year
Tovuti LMS starts at $7,500 a year for the first 100 annual learners on one all-inclusive plan, then quotes by learner count. Here is what the plan includes, what WayPoints AI and LMS-as-a-Service add, how learners are counted, and how it compares.

Tovuti LMS starts at $7,500 a year for the first 100 annual learners, billed annually, on a single all-inclusive plan. Above 100 learners the price is quoted by learner count. The WayPoints AI authoring tool and the LMS-as-a-Service build team cost extra, and WayPoints runs from $999 a year for one creator.
This breakdown is for the HR, L&D or operations lead at a US company who has Tovuti on a shortlist and wants to know what the number will look like before booking the demo. Plan details come from Tovuti's own LMS pricing and WayPoints pricing pages and its help center, read on 2 October 2026. Where a number is our own arithmetic, we say so.
How much does Tovuti LMS cost?
Tovuti now prints one number. Its pricing page reads "Starts at $7,500 / yr · 100 annual learners" and, lower down, "$7,500 / year for your first 100 learners, then scales", with the note "No hidden fees · billed annually". That works out to $75 per learner a year, or $6.25 a month, at the entry point.
Above 100 learners there is no rate card. The page describes a three-step process: you tell Tovuti your learner count plus any integration or security needs, Tovuti sizes the plan, and you get a quote. The button that leads there is labelled "Get your quote".
Two details are worth knowing before that call. First, this is new. Archived copies of the same Tovuti pricing URL from April 2024 and May 2025 contain no dollar amounts at all, so most review sites and directories still describe Tovuti as quote-only or quote older monthly tiers that the vendor no longer lists. Second, Tovuti's own structured data disagrees with its visible page. The schema.org markup on the pricing page lists an offer price of 11000 USD per year, not 7,500. We assume the visible $7,500 is current, but it is a fair question to ask: which figure applies to a 100-learner contract today?
What is included in Tovuti pricing?
Tovuti sells one plan and says plainly that it has "no feature gaps" and "no feature paywalls". The pricing page lists what "comes standard":
- Courses, lessons and learning paths, with interactive H5P content authoring
- Reporting, analytics and dashboards
- Automated assignments and reminders, plus certifications and compliance tracking
- Branded portals and a native mobile app with offline access
- SSO, HRIS and CRM integrations
- Events and instructor-led training
- E-commerce for selling courses
- Gamification with points, badges and leaderboards
That single-plan model is the strongest part of the Tovuti offer. Many LMS vendors gate SSO or HR integrations behind an upper tier, which is how a published entry rate turns into a much larger real quote. Tovuti puts both in the base price.
Tovuti add-ons and what they cost
Two things sit outside the plan.
WayPoints AI is Tovuti's AI course authoring tool. It turns SOPs, PDFs and decks into SCORM-ready courses and can run standalone or inside the LMS. The LMS page calls it an "add-on fee" and says Tovuti LMS customers save. The separate WayPoints pricing page lists:
| WayPoints plan | Published price | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | $999 a year, flat | One creator |
| Teams | From $4,000 a year, usage-based | Five or more creators, with a course library and admin dashboard |
| Enterprise | Custom | SSO, SCIM, audit logs and a FedRAMP path |
LMS-as-a-Service is Tovuti's team building the program with you or for you: content migration, course building, portal setup and ongoing program management. It is "priced to your scope", with a discount for LMS customers, so there is no figure to quote.
Put together, a 100-learner company that wants AI authoring for one person is looking at roughly $8,499 a year on Tovuti's published entry numbers ($7,500 plus $999), before any customer discount on WayPoints. That is our sum, not a Tovuti quote.
Does Tovuti charge per user?
Tovuti prices by learner, and its page calls the unit "annual learners". It does not define the term on the pricing page. Its help center is the best guide to how usage is measured: the "Active Users" report "shows how many user licenses have been used", can be run by month or by year, and is the one report that includes disabled user accounts by default. The help articles for its Workday and ADP connectors also talk about filtering imports and disabling leavers to avoid "license waste".
Read together, that suggests a learner who was active during the contract year counts toward the 100, even if they left in March. For a business with seasonal staff or high turnover, that is the number to pin down in writing: is the count unique people who logged in during the year, or the peak number of enabled accounts? The difference between the two can be large, and it is the same question we walk through in LMS cost per user, active vs registered.
Ways to lower a Tovuti quote
The pricing page lists three discount routes, which tells you where the negotiation room is:
- Contract length. A multi-year term locks a lower annual rate, and "the longer the term, the bigger the break".
- Industry incentives. Nonprofit, government, education and healthcare teams may qualify for sector pricing.
- Current promotions. Seasonal offers can lower the first-year cost.
A multi-year term is the one that changes your risk. If you take it, record the term, the renewal date, the annual uplift cap and the learner band in your contract management software, so the renewal does not arrive as a surprise three years from now.
Tovuti pricing vs other LMS platforms
Here is how the Tovuti entry point compares with platforms that publish a rate, and two that do not, for a team of about 100 learners.
| Platform | Published price | About 100 learners a year | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tovuti | From $7,500 a year for 100 annual learners | $7,500 | One plan with gamification, events and e-commerce included |
| 360Learning | $8 per user a month on Team, up to 100 users | $9,600 | Collaborative authoring by subject matter experts |
| Absorb LMS | None, quoted by learner band | Quote | Compliance-led programs with HRIS connectors |
| Docebo | None, quoted on active users | Quote | Larger configurable programs and extended enterprise |
| CompanyLMS Business | $7 per active learner a month, $6 billed annually | $7,200 if all 100 train every month | Onboarding, compliance and certification tracking without a sales call |
The CompanyLMS figure is our published annual rate multiplied out: 100 learners at $6 a month for twelve months. A learner who does not train in a month is not billed, so the real bill is usually lower. For how Absorb builds its quote, see Absorb LMS pricing, and for nine platforms side by side, enterprise LMS pricing.
Is Tovuti worth it?
For a team that wants gamification, live events and course sales in one contract, often yes. At 100 learners, $7,500 with SSO and HR integrations included is a fair price, and the single plan removes the tier-upgrade surprise that catches buyers on other platforms. Tovuti also includes points, badges and leaderboards, which CompanyLMS does not offer at all.
It is a harder sell in three cases. If you have 30 or 40 people to train, the $7,500 floor is the price of 100 learners whether you use them or not. If your learner count swings with seasonal hiring, an annual learner count can charge you for people who left months ago. And if you need a number above 100 learners to put in a budget this week, Tovuti will not give you one without a demo.
A published alternative when the job is required training
If what you actually need is onboarding paths, compliance assignments and proof of who is certified, CompanyLMS does that on a rate you can read today. It drafts a course from the policy or SOP you already have, adds a quiz and a certificate, assigns it by team or role, sends renewal reminders before certificates expire, and shows who is current, due or overdue on one board. Business is $7 per active learner a month, or $6 billed annually, with a 10 learner minimum and no implementation fee. Every price is on the pricing page.
If you are weighing Tovuti because your HR suite's own LMS fell short, our Dayforce LMS alternatives page shows which platforms actually connect to Dayforce, and LMS for small business compares nine options with their published rates.
Questions to ask before you sign a Tovuti quote
- How is an annual learner counted? Unique people who logged in during the year, or peak enabled accounts?
- Which price applies at 100 learners? The page shows $7,500, the page markup says 11,000. Get the figure on the order form.
- What does the next learner band cost? Ask for the price at 150 and 250 learners before you sign, not at renewal.
- Is onboarding included? The page promises guided onboarding. Confirm whether content migration is part of it or LMS-as-a-Service.
