Elucidat Pricing and Elucidat Cost From $1,650

Elucidat last listed Growth at $1,650 per author a year for 3 to 5 seats, so the smallest deal is $4,950. Team and Enterprise are quote only, and Elucidat now sells as Create by Confirm. Here is what each plan includes and what it costs next to Articulate, Captivate and Lectora.

Elucidat's last published price was $1,650 per author a year on its Growth plan, sold in packs of 3, 4 or 5 seats, so the smallest Growth deal is $4,950 a year. Team (up to 20 authors) and Enterprise (up to 50) are quote only. Elucidat is now sold as Create by Confirm, the company formerly called Learning Pool, and elucidat.com/pricing redirects to a Confirm page that shows no rate.

This breakdown is for the L&D or HR lead at a US company who has Elucidat on an authoring shortlist and wants a number before the demo. The plan details come from Elucidat's own pricing page as archived in April 2026, earlier archived copies of the same URL, the Confirm product page for Create, and Vendr's buyer data. Where a figure is our arithmetic, we say so.

How much does Elucidat cost?

The Growth plan was listed at "From $1,650 user/year", described as "Perfect for 3, 4 or 5 users". Seats are bought as a team, so the published floor works out like this:

Elucidat plan Authors Listed price Annual cost at list
Growth3, 4 or 5From $1,650 per user a year$4,950 for 3, $6,600 for 4, $8,250 for 5
TeamUp to 20Pricing upon requestQuoted
EnterpriseUp to 50Pricing upon requestQuoted

The annual column is our multiplication of the listed per-seat price, not an Elucidat quote. The word "From" matters too: $1,650 is a starting point, and the add-ons below can move it.

For the quoted plans, the only contract data in public comes from Vendr, which reports an average Elucidat contract of $19,427 a year and a maximum of about $22,000. Vendr says that figure rests on 2 purchasers and 3 completed deals, so treat it as a rough marker for a Team-sized deal, not a benchmark.

Elucidat is now Create by Confirm, and that changes how you buy it

If you type elucidat.com/pricing today, you land on confirm.com/frontline/pricing. The Elucidat homepage redirects to Confirm's product page, titled "Create (formerly Elucidat)" and described as content authoring for frontline training, with AI course outlines, PowerPoint import, translation into 75+ languages and global brand locking.

Confirm is the name Learning Pool took in 2026 after buying WorkRamp, and it now sells one catalog: WorkRamp became Learn:Up, Confirm HR became Perform, WorkStep became Engage, and Elucidat became Create. On Confirm's scale-up pricing page, Create shows a "Get pricing" button rather than a rate. So the $1,650 figure above is the last one Elucidat printed under its own name.

What that means for a buyer: you are no longer buying from a standalone authoring company. Expect the Confirm rep to position Create alongside Learn:Up, its LMS, and ask for both prices separately so you can see what the authoring seat costs on its own.

What each Elucidat plan includes

The April 2026 feature matrix puts the whole authoring toolkit on every plan, and splits the plans on analytics, translation and service:

Feature Growth Team Enterprise
Authoring, AI creation, PowerPoint import, templatesIncludedIncludedIncluded
SCORM and URL releases, xAPI compatibleIncludedIncludedIncluded
Company templates, custom user rolesAdd-onIncludedIncluded
Analytics dashboards, learner data exportAdd-onAdd-onIncluded
Auto-Translate, multi-language releasesAdd-onAdd-onIncluded
User single sign-on (SSO)Add-onAdd-onIncluded
Named relationship manager, business reviewsAdd-onIncludedIncluded
Service-level agreement, prioritized supportNot includedAdd-onAdd-on

Two rows deserve attention. SSO is an add-on below Enterprise, so a Growth or Team buyer whose IT policy requires single sign-on for every SaaS tool should price it in from the start. And analytics and learner data export are add-ons below Enterprise, which matters because those are the features that tell you whether anyone finished the course.

Is there an Elucidat free trial?

Elucidat offered a free trial for years, and directories still list one. The April 2026 pricing page did not mention a trial, every plan ended in "Get pricing", and the Create page on Confirm ends in "Book a demo". Plan on a demo and a sales conversation rather than a self-serve trial.

How Elucidat's price changed

The same pricing URL tells the story when you read its archived copies. In July 2024 it listed four plans (Pro for 1 user, Growth up to 5, Team up to 20, Enterprise) with no dollar figures. By June 2025 the single-user Pro plan was gone and Growth required 3 to 5 seats, still with no price. In April 2026 Growth showed "From $1,650 user/year". Today the URL redirects to Confirm. That is why review sites disagree: some still describe a single-author plan that no longer exists.

Elucidat pricing vs Articulate 360, Captivate and Lectora

Per author, Elucidat sits in the same band as Articulate 360 and well above Captivate. The difference is the seat minimum:

Authoring tool Published price per author Smallest purchase Hosts and tracks learners?
Elucidat (Create)From $1,650 a year3 seats, $4,950No. Publishes SCORM or a URL to your LMS
Articulate 360$1,449 Personal, $1,749 Teams1 seatTeams includes Reach for 300 active learners a year
Adobe Captivate$479.88 a year1 seatNo
LectoraStudio Gold Suite from $1,549 a year1 seatNo, the Rockstar LMS is separate

Prices are each vendor's own published US figures, as covered on the linked pricing pages. For a solo instructional designer, Elucidat is the only one on this list you cannot buy one seat of. For a team of three to five authors who collaborate on the same courses in a browser, its review workflow and brand locking are the reason people pay the premium.

The cost most Elucidat buyers forget

Elucidat builds courses. It does not assign them to employees, remind people who have not finished, or keep the completion record an auditor asks for. That job belongs to an LMS, and it is a second line in the budget. A three-author Growth team at $4,950 a year still needs somewhere to publish its SCORM files.

That is where the decision often flips. If your courses are policy walkthroughs, onboarding paths and annual compliance refreshers, the authoring built into an LMS usually covers them. If all you need from a slide deck is a short knowledge check, you can turn the slides into a quiz in minutes instead of building a full module. Keep a dedicated authoring tool for the branching scenarios and multi-language programs that need it.

CompanyLMS includes a course builder with templates and plays the SCORM files that Elucidat, Articulate or Captivate export, so you can mix both. It costs $4 per active learner a month on Team or $7 on Business ($3 and $6 billed annually), and accounts that do nothing that month are not billed. A 60-person company training everyone monthly on Team pays $2,160 a year on annual billing, which is less than half of the smallest Elucidat Growth deal. See the full rates on the pricing page.

Elucidat pricing FAQ

How much does Elucidat cost per user?

Elucidat's last published rate was from $1,650 per user a year on the Growth plan, which is sold for 3, 4 or 5 authors. That makes the smallest published deal $4,950 a year. Team and Enterprise plans are priced on request, and Vendr reports an average contract of about $19,427 a year.

Does Elucidat have a single-user plan?

Not anymore. Elucidat's pricing page listed a Pro plan for one user in July 2024, and that plan was gone by June 2025. The smallest plan since then is Growth for 3 to 5 users. A solo designer is usually better served by Articulate 360 Personal or Adobe Captivate.

Is Elucidat the same as Confirm Create?

Yes. Confirm, formerly Learning Pool, sells Elucidat as Create, and its product page is titled "Create (formerly Elucidat)". Both elucidat.com and its pricing URL now redirect to Confirm pages, where Create is priced on request.

Does Elucidat include SSO?

Only on Enterprise. Elucidat's feature matrix marks user single sign-on as included on Enterprise and as an add-on on Growth and Team, so smaller plans pay extra for it.

Is Elucidat an LMS?

No. Elucidat is an authoring tool that publishes SCORM packages, xAPI-compatible content or a URL release. You still need an LMS to assign the courses, track completions and keep certification records, and that is a separate cost.
