Easygenerator Pricing and Cost per Author
Easygenerator costs $1,399 a year on Pro for one author, 10 courses and 100 learners, and $6,995 a year on Team from five authors. Here is what each plan leaves out, the cost per author against Articulate and Captivate, and when you still need an LMS.

Easygenerator costs $1,399 a year for the Pro plan (shown as $116 a month, billed annually) with one author, 10 courses and 100 learners, and $6,995 a year for the Team plan (shown as $582 a month) starting at five authors with unlimited courses and learners. Enterprise is priced by quote. Every paid plan is billed annually, and pricing is per author, not per learner.
This breakdown is for the L&D, HR or operations lead at a US company who has Easygenerator on the shortlist and needs the real annual number, and what each tier leaves out, before asking for budget. Every price and plan detail below comes from Easygenerator's own US pricing page, its plan cards, its comparison matrix and its pricing FAQ. The team totals further down are our arithmetic on those published rates, not quotes.
How much does Easygenerator cost?
Easygenerator publishes two prices and quotes the third tier. The monthly figures on the cards are the annual price divided by twelve; there is no month-to-month option shown on the US page.

Taxes may apply on top, and the page also lists a euro price list (Pro at 108 EUR a month and Team at 6,495 EUR a year), so make sure the order form is in USD before you sign. Easygenerator says there are no setup fees, and it offers discounts to educational institutions and non-profits, not to companies.
Easygenerator cost per author
Both published plans work out to the same rate: $1,399 per author a year. Pro is one author for $1,399. Team is five authors for $6,995, which is $1,399 each. The Team plan does not buy a volume discount; it buys unlimited courses and learners, co-authoring, reviewers and learner results.
That matters when you budget. A company with two authors cannot buy two Pro plans and get Team features, and it cannot buy a two-author Team plan either, because Team starts at five. The practical choices are one author on Pro, or five seats on Team even if only two people build courses. The FAQ says you can add more authors by talking to the sales team, and Easygenerator describes Enterprise as the tier where extra seats stop adding cost once you pass a threshold, but that threshold is not published.
What the Easygenerator Pro plan leaves out
Pro is priced as an entry plan, and the cards show exactly where it stops. Pro lists course templates, interactive elements, SCORM export and shareable course links. Team adds, in Easygenerator's own words, "co-authoring and unlimited reviewers", "results tracking and learner analytics", a single branding setup, and an account setup and onboarding session.
- 100 learners. Fine for a pilot, tight for a company. A 150-person business cannot run its annual policy course through Pro shareable links.
- 10 courses. An onboarding program plus a handful of compliance topics fills it quickly.
- No learner results on the card. Results tracking and learner analytics are listed as a Team addition, so on Pro you should plan to publish SCORM to an LMS if you need to prove who completed what.
- No second author. A subject-matter expert who wants to co-edit needs a Team seat.
In short, Pro suits a single designer building content that an LMS will host. Team is the first plan that works as a small standalone training setup.
Is Easygenerator free?
There is a 14-day free trial with full access and no credit card, and after it ends the account drops to a Free plan with premium features switched off. Easygenerator's FAQ says you keep access to your content and can keep using the tool, but premium features stay disabled until you upgrade to Pro, Team or Enterprise. For a company rollout the free plan is a way to keep drafts, not a way to run training.
What do Easygenerator add-ons cost?
AI course building, the AI editor, image generation and Ask AI are built into every plan, and Easygenerator states there are no AI add-ons or forced upgrades for them. Three add-ons are sold separately: EasyTranslate (75 languages from one master course, sold as unlimited translation with predictable pricing), EasyVideo (AI training videos) and EasyCoach (AI roleplay practice). None of the three has a published price, so ask for each line on the quote if multilingual or video content is part of the plan.
Easygenerator pricing vs Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate and iSpring Suite
Per author, Easygenerator sits between the cheapest desktop tool and the most expensive bundle. Annual prices from each vendor's own pricing:

Easygenerator is $350 per author a year cheaper than Articulate 360 AI Teams, and its Team plan includes unlimited learners through shareable links where Articulate caps its bundled Reach at 300 active learners a year. Does Easygenerator need an LMS?
For a small program on the Team plan, not necessarily; for required training that needs due dates, reminders and certificate renewals, usually yes. Easygenerator is an authoring tool. It shares courses by link and tracks results on Team, and it exports SCORM and xAPI. What an authoring tool is not built to do is assign a course to every new hire by role, chase the people who are overdue, and put an annual course back on the list when a certificate expires. Those are LMS jobs, and a company doing compliance or onboarding at scale normally ends up paying for both.
If you are building content from existing material, it also helps to repurpose the same source material for every channel your team reads, so the announcement, the internal post and the course all say the same thing.
Is Easygenerator worth the price for a US company?
Easygenerator is good value when several people across the business write courses, which is the idea it is built around (it calls it employee-generated learning). Five authors, unlimited learners and results tracking for $6,995 a year is less than Articulate for the same seats. It is weaker value for one designer who needs more than 100 learners, because the jump from Pro to Team is five seats whether you need them or not.
The cheaper route for many companies is to skip the separate authoring seat. - Which add-ons (EasyTranslate, EasyVideo, EasyCoach) are on the quote, and at what price?
