Lessonly Pricing: Seismic Learning Cost 2026
Lessonly, now Seismic Learning, publishes no price. Seismic sells two license types, and only the Standard license includes role play practice. Here is what each license includes, what Vendr says Seismic contracts cost, and when a published per-learner LMS is the better buy.

Lessonly, now sold as Seismic Learning, has no public price. Seismic runs no pricing page, the old lessonly.com pricing URL now lands on a demo request form, and the only first-party document about what you buy is a legal product description that defines two license types and lists no rates. The best outside anchor is Vendr, which puts the median Seismic contract at $31,950 a year, and that figure covers Seismic purchases in general, not Learning on its own.
If you are pricing Lessonly, you probably own sales or support onboarding at a company big enough to have an enablement budget, and you are either renewing an old Lessonly contract or weighing Seismic Learning against a plain LMS. The useful question is which license your people actually need, because Seismic sells two, and only one of them includes the role play practice most buyers assume they are getting.
How much does Lessonly cost?
Lessonly costs whatever Seismic quotes you, because no rate is published anywhere Seismic controls. When we checked on 17 September 2026, seismic.com/pricing returned a 404, and lessonly.com/pricing redirected to a Seismic page titled "Get a Demo of Lessonly by Seismic" with a contact form and no numbers. The legal product description for Seismic Content and Seismic Learning describes what each license includes and never mentions a price.
| Figure | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Published rate for Seismic Learning | None | seismic.com/pricing returns 404 |
| Old Lessonly pricing page | Redirects to a demo request form | lessonly.com/pricing |
| License types | Learning Standard User and Learning Intranet User | Seismic legal product description |
| Median annual Seismic contract | $31,950, range $8,993 to $179,008 | Vendr, third-party purchase data for Seismic overall |
| Average negotiated saving | About 15 percent | Vendr, third-party |
Read the Vendr number carefully. It describes what companies paid for Seismic, and most Seismic deals include Seismic Content, the sales content platform. A Learning-only contract for a 40-person support team will sit well below it, and a combined Content and Learning deal for a large sales org can sit far above it. Vendr's own page also says professional services for Seismic can add $10,000 to $100,000 or more, depending on deployment.
Seismic Learning licenses: Standard User vs Intranet User
This is the part of the quote that decides the price, and almost no pricing article mentions it. Seismic's product description says Seismic Learning is sold with two license types, and "customers assign users based on the individual user's type, role, and/or function." The Standard license is described as "purpose built to deliver the entirety of a sales readiness solution for revenue producing and revenue supporting teams." Here is the capability matrix as Seismic publishes it.
| Capability | Learning Standard User | Learning Intranet User |
|---|---|---|
| Lessons, certifications and the collaborative lesson builder | Included | Included |
| SCORM, xAPI and cmi5 upload | Included | Included |
| Grading station, insights dashboard and readiness scorecard | Included | Included |
| Audio, video, chat, email and ticket handling practice | Included | Not included |
| Custom role play scenarios with automated and peer feedback | Included | Not included |
| Skills assessment, coaching plans and skills library | Add-on | Not listed |
| Integrations, localization, events, custom roles | Included | Included |
Two things follow. First, the whole Practice section, which is what Lessonly was known for, belongs to the Standard license only. If your quote mixes license types to bring the price down, the people on Intranet licenses can take lessons and earn certifications but cannot rehearse a call. Second, skills assessment and coaching plans are an add-on even for Standard users, so a quote that says "Seismic Learning" does not automatically include coaching. Ask for the license split and the add-on list as separate lines.
Are the old Lessonly prices still valid?
No, and you should not budget from them. Several software directories still repeat plan names and monthly figures from the years when Lessonly was independent, including a free tier and fixed monthly plans capped by user count. None of those figures appears on any Seismic page we could find, the pricing URL they came from now redirects to a demo form, and the current product is sold on the two license types above. Treat any Lessonly number without a Seismic source as history.
Is Seismic Learning sold separately from Seismic Content?
Yes. The product description says it plainly: "Seismic Content and Seismic Learning are purchased separately. Users available will depend on which products are purchased." Content, the part that stores approved decks and puts them into the emails reps send, comes in Professional and Enterprise Premier editions with its own license types. If your reps already live in Seismic Content, adding Learning lets you embed that content inside lessons. If they do not, you are buying a training product from a company whose main business is content management. And if what your team needs is the outbound sequence itself rather than the collateral inside it, that job belongs to a dedicated cold email platform, not an enablement suite.
Lessonly cost compared with platforms that publish a price
Here is how Seismic Learning sits against the platforms a sales or support leader usually shortlists alongside it. Vendor figures were read from each vendor's own pages between 15 and 17 September 2026.
| Platform | Published price | Role play practice | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seismic Learning (Lessonly) | None. Quote only | Yes, on Standard licenses | Teams already on Seismic Content |
| Mindtickle | None. Vendr median $44,356 a year | Yes, from the Readiness package | Large sales orgs buying a readiness suite |
| Learn:Up (formerly WorkRamp) | From $9 per user a month, billed annually, at 200 people | Yes, AI simulations | Fast-growing sales teams |
| CompanyLMS | $4 or $7 per active learner a month, $3 or $6 billed annually | No. Quizzes and dated certification paths | Onboarding, compliance and certification tracking |
For a sense of scale: 60 reps on CompanyLMS Business, billed annually at $6 per active learner, comes to $4,320 a year. That is roughly an eighth of the Vendr median for Seismic, although, to be fair, it buys a different product. It will not score a recorded pitch.
Which one should you buy?
Buy Seismic Learning when your reps already use Seismic Content every day, when practice on recorded calls is the heart of your ramp program, and when the budget sits in five figures. In that setup, Learning inside the same platform saves your reps a second login and lets you train on the exact decks they send.
Look elsewhere when the job is getting new hires through onboarding, recording who finished which required course and keeping certifications current. Most support, operations and customer success teams fall here, and so do sales teams whose ramp problem is product knowledge rather than call delivery. They will pay for Practice licenses they rarely open. CompanyLMS was built for that second group: role-based onboarding paths, certification tracking with renewal reminders and recurring compliance training on the Business plan, bought online at a rate you can see before you call anyone. You can build a course in the Course Studio at the top of this page and assign it to three learners before you pay.
If you are leaving Lessonly, our Lessonly competitors and alternatives page compares nine replacements side by side. For the enablement-first vendors, see the sales training and onboarding software comparison, our breakdown of Mindtickle pricing, and WorkRamp pricing, the other sales-training LMS renamed after an acquisition.
What to ask before you sign a Seismic Learning quote
How many Standard licenses and how many Intranet licenses are in this quote, and at what rate each? Are skills assessment and coaching plans included, or are they the add-on the product description mentions? Is Learning priced on its own, or only as part of a Content bundle? What do professional services cost, and are they required? What is the term, and is there a renewal cap? If you are an existing Lessonly customer, also ask which of your current features map to Standard licenses, because a renewal is where a change in license type turns into a change in price.
